Electrical installation that works with the facility around it
Installing an agreed measure in a facility that remains in operation requires more than correct components. Shutdown windows, interfaces, responsibilities and documentation must be coordinated from the start. We keep the assignment together from scope to documented handover.
When the installation must be integrated into ongoing operation
An agreed measure must be implemented
Equipment, cabling and protection must be integrated with the existing system.
Several suppliers share interfaces
Responsibilities and technical boundaries must remain clear across the assignment.
Downtime must be controlled
Work and commissioning must be planned around the facility's operational constraints.
Documentation must match the result
Drawings, settings, test records and changes must describe what was actually handed over.
Clear roles before work begins
The party responsible for the facility retains its responsibilities. Electrical installation work is performed under the responsibility of the registered electrical installation company engaged for that work. The agreed assignment states who designs, performs, coordinates, tests, documents and approves each part.
CLEPS coordinates the technical assignment and the interfaces included in the agreed scope.
What an installation assignment may include
The exact scope is adapted to the measure, facility and division of responsibility.
Technical scope and interfaces
Boundaries, existing conditions and required functions are documented before implementation.
Planning and shutdown windows
Work is sequenced around access, safety and operational availability.
Installation and coordination
Agreed work is coordinated with equipment suppliers and other technical disciplines.
Protection and settings
Relevant protection functions and settings are checked against the intended system.
Testing and commissioning support
Tests are planned so that the installed function can be demonstrated under relevant conditions.
Documentation and handover
The final delivery records what was installed, tested, changed and left for further action.
A traceable handover
Depending on the assignment, the delivery may include:
- Agreed scope, interfaces and responsibilities
- Work and shutdown plan
- Drawings and equipment information
- Protection settings and configuration records
- Inspection and test records
- Deviation and outstanding-action list
- Updated documentation for handover
Interfaces, access and acceptance criteria are agreed.
The delivered function and remaining points are documented.
Work is planned for the actual Swedish facility
The English page is a language option for assignments in Sweden. Applicable legislation, registration requirements and technical rules are Swedish or are applied in Sweden. Responsibility and availability are confirmed in writing before work begins.
What needs to be installed or changed?
Describe the facility, the intended measure and the operational constraints. We will help define scope, interfaces and the evidence needed at handover.
