You should not have to guess what your energy system can handle

When costs rise, disturbances recur or available capacity becomes uncertain, you need to understand what is actually happening in the installation.

CLEPS helps operations in Sweden move from a technical question and measurement to analysis, implementation and follow-up.

You have one contracting party, one point of contact and a coherent basis for the next decision.

Knowing that something happened is not the same as knowing why

An energy system is built for an operation that continues to change. Equipment is added, loads move and control systems are modified. Over time, the documented installation and the real installation can drift apart.

A problem may appear as an alarm, a stop, a recurring disturbance or a cost that is difficult to explain. The relevant cause may be a brief event, a pattern developing over time or an interaction between several systems.

A measurement taken at the wrong point, for the wrong period or with insufficient resolution can record the consequence without capturing the sequence that explains it.

Without adequate evidence, troubleshooting becomes a chain of assumptions. Components are replaced or settings changed without being able to show which action affected the result.

CLEPS exists because technical decisions should not have to rely on guesswork when better evidence can be created.

The assignment should not be larger than the question requires

Different questions require different combinations of equipment, technical assessment, training and implementation. The starting point is the question, not a predetermined product or package.

You need the right equipment

We select instruments and systems according to what the measurement must be able to establish. The equipment is a tool for answering the question, not the starting point.

You need a technical assessment

Before an investment or change, we help separate what is known from what still needs to be measured, analysed or verified.

You need the knowledge in your organisation

We provide training and handover so that more technical decisions can be made internally the next time the question arises.

You need someone to coordinate the work

CLEPS can coordinate the route from measurement and analysis to implementation and follow-up, while remaining your contracting party and point of contact.

These are entry points, not fixed steps. The scope follows the question.

The other half of electrification

Electrification requires new generation, grids and connections. It also requires a better understanding of the capacity and performance already installed.

CLEPS works with electrical systems: energy and power, power quality, verification against defined requirements and continuous technical follow-up.

Operating systems leave evidence in voltage, current, load and time. When the measurement is designed around the right question, that evidence can show when deviations occur, which operating conditions coincide with them and what the available data can support.

Where technically possible, we also assess whether data from existing systems can be used before recommending new equipment.

Better knowledge does not always replace new capacity. It makes the decision about what to change, reinforce or expand more reliable.

What guides our work

The question comes before the instrument

The measurement point, duration and resolution determine which events become visible. We therefore define the operational question first and select the technology afterwards.

Data should create understanding

A value only becomes meaningful in context. We state what was measured, under which conditions, what it shows and what cannot be concluded from it.

Implementation is not verification

A completed measure is not automatically a verified result. Follow-up under comparable conditions is needed to show what actually changed.

26 years of experience, carried forward

CLEPS Electrical Power Solution AB was founded in 2000 and has since then worked with power systems, connection of generation, technical requirements and power quality.

In 2026, the company was acquired by Mizar Industries AB and now continues under the name CLEPS AB. Christer Liljegren remains part of the business and contributes the experience and specialist knowledge from 26 years of work at CLEPS.

CLEPS today brings together competence in Swedish industry, mechanical power transmission, electric motors, measurement technology, instruments, installation and industrial work. That allows us to follow a question from measurement and analysis through to implementation and follow-up.

26 years of specialist knowledge, and a broader ability to carry out what the evidence indicates.

We state what we know and what we do not know

A calculated value can be correct and still provide insufficient evidence for a decision. The limitation may lie in the measurement method, operating conditions or the question the result is expected to answer.

We distinguish between observations, interpretations and verified conclusions. Limitations are stated as part of the result.

Sometimes the correct conclusion is that no measure is justified yet and that the sensible next step is to continue observing the development.

The final decision always remains with the party responsible for the installation.

What do you need to know?

Tell us what is happening in the installation or which decision you are facing. We help define the question, scope the assignment and determine what evidence is required.

An installation can answer — if you ask the right question.
